It's been a while since I sent out a newsletter, and I apologize for the delay.  Life got in the way for a few months, but the dust is settling and things are finally getting back to normal.

One of the things that threw me off-stride was a wedding in the family.  My daughter came home one day and told me she was getting married -- in 3 1/2 weeks!  Somehow we managed to pull off a nice garden wedding on a hillside in the Rockies. The garden had a view of the lake that had all of the guests turning their cameras away from the bride and groom for a few minutes to catch the sunset.  It really was a beautiful wedding, and now I have a wonderful new son-in-law who is serving the country in the Air Force.

Let me pause here to send out a special welcome to those of you who've joined this mailing list since the last time I sent out a newsletter.

I'd also like to thank all of my faithful readers who have put both Candy Apple Dead and Chocolate Dipped Death on the bestseller lists.  Both books have also been released in large print (Chocolate Dipped Death's large print version is coming out this month).  I couldn't be more thrilled by the response to the series.

I've been getting a lot of mail in the past few months asking when the next book will be coming.  I'm happy to say that I'm working on it now, and as soon as I get a release date from my publisher -- which, of course, won't happen until I finish the book -- I'll let you all know.

Well, that's it for now. I'm leaving town again tomorrow for a five-day writer's retreat in Southern Utah, and I'm nowhere near ready to go.

Until next time --

May each day be filled with Sweet Success
